Job Description

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic marketing intern that is unafraid to take initiatives. As our marketing intern, you will be in charge of our social media and content marketing as well as marketing strategies, ideating and planning out our future pipeline. You are self-driven and entrepreneurial, with a hunger to learn and ability to align our Chinese media channels with your insights on the unique Chinese landscape, including design, B2B and innovation landscape.

Responsibilities

-Populating, optimizing and managing our WeChat account, working with the team to generate content, write articles and grow our community of WeChat followers.

-Do market research to understand how to optimize WeChat marketing in the Chinese landscape, and provide intelligence, analysis of competitors’ and peers’ official accounts

-Although your main channel responsibility is WeChat, you will also work closely with our Global marketing team for content creation and pipeline for our social media accounts, including contributing to cross-platform content strategies.

-Assist with capturing social media metrics

-Attend, assist in planning and executing MING offline marketing/community events with the main purpose of publicizing them both pre- and post-event.

Secondary task:

-Help out in areas where you can provide value in such as business design, employer branding and networking to grow the MING partner network

Qualification Requirements

Required skills:

-Strong communication skills

-Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese

-Passionate about digital marketing

-Strong creative and critical thinking skills

-Have experience in copy writing

Preferred skills:

-Good understanding of Digital Transformation and emerging technologies

-Good understanding of China’s digital media/ social media landscape
