Vehicle Policy
You must have your own valid driver license and vehicle certificate when you purchase a car. Please abide by the traffic regulation of Shanghai. DO NOT drive when you are drunk. Drive slowly on campus. No illegal joyride, no drive on the wrong side, nor run the red light. Please keep your seat belt on no matter you are driving by yourself or taking a taxi.
You are unable to get a motorcycle license in urban area of Shanghai. Parking or driving any motorcycle or light motorcycle with the exhaust pipe is not permitted on campus even if you are holding a valid license. The security of the University may confiscate your motorcycle or light motorcycle with the exhaust pipe parking on campus.
You can purchase an electronic bicycle powered by electricity. But please keep a slow speed riding on campus and do not toot the horn. Campus is an area should be keep quite all the time. Please lock your bicycle or electronic bicycle all the time even inside the campus. Theft of bicycles happens on campus.
Please park your bicycle or electronic bicycle in the designated areas. The security of the university may remove your bicycle or electronic bicycle if it parks in the place that block the road or the entrance of a building.
