CIP has successfully hosted the 34th ICES International Forum on November 1st by cooperating with Crossroad Culture Agancy, Hill International Lawyers and Advisers, and Trans European Law Firms Alliance. The theme of this International Forum is "Going Europe with Support of the Dutch".
This seminar was not only open to students but also invited companies who have intention to invest in Europe. In this case, the events received the support from Netherlands Consulate General in Shanghai. The Deputy Consul General, Mr. Huub Buise, gave the opening speach. Dr. Mariska Stevens from Crossraod Culture (the Netherlands) gave a speach on "Lobbying in the European Union; Communication Patterns Beyond Trade Barriers". Following by the speach on "Legal problems and solutions in doing business with Europe" given by Mr. Gerard van Swieten from HIL International Lawyers & Advisers.
After the seminars, the representatives from companies were invited to join the networking meeting & refreshments in the Uni Cafe, which enhance the connetion between the university and the companies.
