CIP Students in Donghua University Model United Nations 2013

Donghua University Model United Nations (DHMUN) was established in 2005 and has successfully held 4 conferences, attracting delegates from various universities. By discussing and debating possible solutions for the most challenging global issues at a simulated United Nations conference, Yong delegates develop all-round abilities and gain knowledge of United Nations as well as international issues.Most importantly, the enthusiasm evoked by DHMUN will awaken the participants to look out beyond the campus to the larger world in which they will create their lives connected to the international communicaty.

The annual meeting of DHMUN 2013  was hosted by College of Foreign Language and undertook by Center of International Programs, International Cultural Exchange School (CIP). This is the first time for CIP students participate DHMUN. During 2 days events, 15 participates worked with Chinese students and International students from 12 universities and play roles as the delegates of different contries, which was a unique experience for them. Not only their writing skills, presentation skills and debate skills had improved, they also made many new friends and better adapted into Chinese campus life.
